A little bit more

This cheeky pair of playful brothers Colin and Filippo arrived at HFC in the summer time after they were signed over by their previous owner who wasn't able to cope with the number of cats in the home, sadly many of which had flu.

Most of the kittens have now successfully gone to their new homes but these two were slightly more poorly and needed an extended stay and more vet treatment before they were ready to find a new family.

Now at roughly 4 and a half to 5 months old they are ready to find their forever home too. Sadly Colin has some long term damage from the flu to his right eye which means he is partially sighted and will always have this deformity which we hope his new owners can overlook as he is just beautiful and this doesn't cause him any pain. Filippo had an upper respiratory infection which he has fully recovered from. Both cats could be susceptible to the odd future flare up but equally we expect them to live very normal, long lives.

They are incredibly friendly and would make the most loving, affectionate family pets. They would be ok with children of 5 and up and would be fine with cat friendly dogs. They must live as the only cats in the home due to them being flu carriers. They will eventually be able to go outside once they have settled and been neutered so it's important that they have very safe outdoor access, particularly with Colin's slight visual impairment.

Here for cats will support with neutering and microchipping costs once they have settled into their new home as offer a three month period of care with our vets should they have any initial flare ups.

We couldn't do what we do without your support and generosity. Please consider making a small donation to help us continue rescuing cats.
