A little bit more
Beautiful 8-10 year old Daisy needs a patient owner who will give her the time and space needed to adjust whilst you get to know her and to slowly provide her with some positive interactions.
Daisy is a mystery of a cat as sadly she was handed into a vet practice without any history. A member of the public had been feeding her and was concerned about her condition, but sadly no other details were taken at the vets so we were not able to establish anything further about her past which has made assessing her needs very tricky.
So far in foster care with us she has been very quiet. She isn't particularly fussed about having company but neither does she seem anxious about being handled. She does seem to prefer to chill out by herself. We feel that being in a home environment might be something she has not been used to for a long time and perhaps she is finding confusing or has suffered some previous trauma which is impacting on the way she interacts with people.
Being deaf, it is going to be vital that she has either a secure catio or lives in a very safe area where she can explore without being close to busy main roads. Some kind of outdoor access is important to Daisy so that she has her freedom again, having been outside for a period of time, before she arrived with us.
It may be best for her to have a quiet home without other pets and young children as we don't want to overwhelm her.
Her health checks were all fine including a precautionary scan and blood tests. She is up to date with vaccinations, assumed neutered (due to her age) and has received parasite treatments and is microchipped.
She is currently in foster care in Deepcut, Surrey
If you can offer sweet Daisy a chance, we'd love to hear from you.
