A little bit more

We are looking for a new home for this 18 month old British Short Hair who is feeling a little blue confined at the cattery.

Her previous owners were unable to cope with her medical condition so sadly asked us to find her a new home. Mia has undergone lots of tests recently as she had an ongoing tummy issue which is most likely to be Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This is now being managed very well with a strict diet and medication which should not be life long, providing her diet is not changed. She will need to be the only animal in the home and needs a home without children as stress may cause future flare ups. HfC is willing to support the adopter, in the short term, financially (using our chosen vet) with any further vet care for this condition whilst she settles in.

She is described as a sweet and calm cat with a friendly personality, not a lap cat and doesn't really like to be held, but she loves to play and be stroked and loves to follow you around for attention! She likes to sit near you, and used to have a basket next to the sofa where she could interact and be stroked which she really loved.

If you are an experienced cat owner, are committed to helping us keep her medical condition controlled and would like this sweet cat as a companion then please let us know and we will be happy to talk to you about this deserving young lady.

We couldn't do what we do without your support and generosity. Please consider making a small donation to help us continue rescuing cats.
