Back in mid-October, Athena, who is white and black and 2 years, 4 months’ old, was handed into a vet practice. Sadly, the vet practice received no background about how poor Athena came to be living outside. At that time, she was heavily pregnant and, overnight on her first night at the practice, she gave birth to a litter of beautiful kittens! 

Since arriving into HFC care, gentle Athena has been a wonderful mum to her kittens, who have homes lined up.  She is still looking out for her kittens, but is starting to play a little more.

Now the kittens are over eight weeks' old and her mum duties are drawing to an end, we have arranged for Athena to be spayed, microchipped and to receive a first vaccination so that she is ready to find her own forever home.  She has potential to live with adults or alongside a family with very respectful children, aged 5+, She has had no experience of living with other cats or dogs whilst in our care.
