A little bit more

Tabby & white, Baxter, came into HFC care after he was taken to a vet practice with a severe injury to his tail.  Sadly, an operation was required to shorten the tail of this lovely one-year-old, but he is adapting well and now ready find his forever home.

Baxter likes company and he would like to find a home with adopter(s) who are at home most of the time.  This stocky boy is very relaxed, affectionate and just loves a tummy rub!  Without the balance of a full tail, Baxter is no longer able to jump very high, but he is very playful, particularly enjoying fishing rod and “kicker” toys.  Whilst not a lap-cat, he likes to sit very close to his Foster Carers.  A bit of a softy, Baxter does not like to be alone in the dark and sleeps with a night light next to his bed.

Baxter has potential to live either with adults or alongside a family with respectful children, aged 8+. Whilst in our care, he has had no experience with other cats or dogs.

Baxter is available for adoption having been neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated.  He is available to meet potential adopters at his foster home in Ashford, Middlesex.

If you would like to offer a calm, forever home with safe outside space to Baxter, where he can continue to flourish, we would love to hear from you.  Please complete the application form below and we will be in touch.  Thank you.
