A little bit more

Ben, who is male, ginger and white and five years’ old, is looking for a forever home.

When his Finder discovered Ben, a friendly and well-cared for cat, hiding out inside her shed in Hersham, she felt sure that he must be lost and that his owners would be missing such a lovely cat. She took him to a Vet practice for a check of his microchip where it was revealed that he belonged to a family living in the same road as his Finder. Ben was returned to the family but, just two weeks’ later, he returned to his Finder’s shed. Ben’s previous owner advised his Finder that Ben had not been getting on with the two other cats in her home (one is his Dad) or her lively children. The neighbours agreed that the best solution for Ben would be for him to return to live with his Finder and her husband, but this time, inside their home.

Over the past year, Ben has enjoyed living with his Finders, where he has been very loved and learned that vacuum cleaners are not to be feared! However, his Finder's allergies increased to a level that she felt no longer able to care for Ben.

Ben is an independent cat who has a soft spot for his Finder’s partner and treats. Whilst he enjoys spending time in the same room as his humans, Ben has never been a lap cat.

Ben would most like to live in a home with adults where he can enjoy being an only pet.  He often sleeps during the day and, therefore, has potential to live with people who work away from home on some days.

Ben has previously been neutered, microchipped, has received a first vaccination and is ready to meet potential adopters.

Previously advertised through our Direct Re-home service, Ben has just arrived into HFC Foster Care in Wonersh where he is settling in nicely.

If you would like to offer Ben a happy home where he will have a safe garden to enjoy (where a comfy shed is a bonus!), please take a look at the checklist in his media where you can see the type of home he is looking for. Thank you.
