A little bit more

Tabby and white cat, Kwasi, is looking for a happy retirement home.

This gorgeous, 13-year-old lady was first rescued by her family as a youngster. However, following the introduction of a lively therapy dog into her home three years’ ago and three home moves, Kwasi became increasingly stressed, leading to her hiding away and over-grooming her coat.  Sad to see her unhappy, her family contacted HFC to ask for help to re-home her.

Kwasi moved into HFC foster care in Cranleigh in early December, where she has settled in well. She enjoys the company of her Carer and is a very “young and active” senior! Her ideal retirement home will be with adults and where she can enjoy being an only pet.

Kwasi had previously been neutered and microchipped and we have arranged for her to be brought up-to-date with vaccinations and to receive a dental. Having had one bad tooth removed, she is now ready to start retirement with a dazzling new smile!

As Kwasi is over 12 years’ old, she is a member of the HFC Golden Oldies Club. This means that there is no fee applicable to her adoption and, by arrangement, HFC is able to support her adopter(s) with unforeseen vet costs that will support her wellbeing in retirement.

If you would like to offer Kwasi a happy retirement home that has safe outside space for her to enjoy in the good weather, please complete our application form below. Thank you.
