Aged 3 years and 4 months’, handsome tabby & white boy, Niko, is looking for a new home,  His owners’ landlord has refused permission for them to continue to keep pets when they were already struggling to afford to care for him.

Niko has recently arrived into the care of our cattery on the Surrey/Hampshire border and, after just a few days, he appears to have settled in well and relaxed.  He is confident and friendly and is already seeking lots of fuss from the cattery team and volunteers.

Niko does not enjoy the company of other cats and is scared of dogs.  However, he really likes people and has potential to live either with adults or with a family with respectful children aged 5+.

Niko likes to spend lots of time outdoors and will, occasionally, go exploring for a day or two.  His dislikes are being picked up and travelling in a carrier.  We recommend that his new owner spends time carrier training with Niko, with the aim of reducing fear of travel and visits to the vet going forward.

Niko is healthy and available for adoption having been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped,  He has also been treated for fleas and worms.
