Lulu, who is tortoiseshell and 16 years, 2 months’ old, is looking for a forever home after her owner sadly passed away.  She has recently been taken into HFC foster care in Cranleigh.

Her previous owner described Lulu as a “refined young lady”.  She loved to be brushed and to sit next to her owner on the sofa.  She also liked to spend time outside, rarely straying beyond her own garden. Lulu would therefore like her new home to have safe outside space to explore. Lulu was always happy to meet visitors, and whilst she had limited experience with children, allowed them to stroke and make a fuss of her.

Lulu is frightened of other cats, and if approached, will hide from them.  We are therefore looking to re-home her separately from her previous housemate, Dizzy, and would like to find a home for her where she can enjoy being the only cat.  However, Lulu used to be content to live with, and has potential to be re-homed alongside, a very friendly dog.

Lulu was spayed and microchipped before she came into care and, in preparation for re-homing, we have arranged for her to receive a first vaccination.

As a senior lady over 12 years’ old, Lulu is a member of the HFC Golden Oldies scheme, which means that there is no fee applicable to her adoption and we will be able to offer advice and, by arrangement, financial support to ensure that she is able to enjoy a healthy retirement.
