A little bit more
Mickey, who is male, 5 years’ old and a Flame Red Ragdoll, and his friend, Freya, who is female, 4 years’ old and a Chocolate Point Ragdoll, are looking for a forever home. They have come into HFC care because their owner has sadly become homeless and is no longer able to care for them. These beautiful, long-haired cats, who have lived indoors all their lives, would like an indoor home.
Mickey, (orange tipped ears) is a lovable rogue who likes to explore everything. He is quite talkative and, because he is deaf, will sometimes chat loudly. In contrast, Freya is very well behaved and acts like Mickey’s mother! She is very nervous and will likely hide upon arrival to a new home.
Mickey and Freya are very closely bonded, but they also love to play fight. Mickey is often the instigator, but Freya always forgives his antics and, within a short time, they mutually groom and cuddle up together! Neither Mickey nor Freya are lap cats but they love snuggling together on a heat pad next to their Carer and to lie next to him in bed at night.
Both cats love bootlace, ribbon and fishing rod type games and their cat puzzle feeder. They are fully litter trained and eat a variety of wet and a little dry food.
As long-haired cats, Mickey and Freya will need daily brushing to prevent matting. Mickey loves being brushed but Freya can be elusive!
Mickey has just received a major dental, which has sadly left him with only his canine teeth. Both cats are neutered and they are up-to-date with vaccinations. As indoor cats, who will not have exposure to the outside world, it is recommended that they receive booster vaccinations at three yearly intervals.
Mickey and Freya, who are large and fluffy cats, are looking for a large indoor home where they will have choice about when to spend time together and apart. They would like to live with adults understanding of Freya’s need for space and Mickey’s capacity for misbehaving! They would like to be the only pets in their new home.
Mickey and Freya are ready to meet potential adopters at their current foster home in Epsom. If you would like to offer a loving indoor home to this characterful pair, please don’t delay and complete our application form today! Thank you.
