Bentley, who is female, black & white and semi long-haired, is still waiting for her forever home. Initially a resident at our Cat Cabins, she has recently taken up a place arising at a new foster home in Farncombe.

Bentley, who is now 3 years, 11 months’ old, was brought into HFC care because she had become increasingly stressed after a dog was introduced into her home. This resulted in her choosing to spend most of her time outside or in a single room in the house where the dog was not allowed.

Bentley is a characterful young lady with impressive whiskers(!). Charismatic and fun, she loves to spend time in the same room as her Foster Carers but she has not been a lap cat. Bentley is wildly affectionate in the mornings and evenings, however, at other times, she prefers contact on her own terms and will let her Carers know when she has had enough with a gentle bat of her paw. Bentley is bright and watches carefully what is going on around her, but she also listens and is well behaved. Bentley is playful and her favourite toy in her previous home was a fish teddy that she “adopted” from the young girl in her family and carried with her everywhere.

Bentley has potential to either live with adults or alongside a family with respectful children, aged 7+. Due to her experience, she would prefer a home where she can enjoy being an only pet. Whilst in HFC care, Bentley has been professionally groomed, in part to remove some matting around her back end. Bentley is now looking gorgeous and has posed for these new photos! She does not currently enjoy being brushed and it is important that her adopter(s) will be patient with her to ensure her lovely, long coat is kept free of painful matting.

Bentley has previously been spayed and microchipped. She is now fully vaccinated and ready to charm potential adopters.
