This is Buffy, who is a two-year-old, female, mackerel tabby.

Since the recent loss of her family’s senior cat, who was a calm and reassuring influence on everyone, Buffy had become unhappy living in her previous home. She stopped getting along with her sister and began to avoid the noise of family life. Concerned for her ongoing happiness, Buffy’s owner contacted HFC to ask for support to find Buffy a quiet, more suitable, home where she can relax.

Whilst Buffy is independent and has potential to live with an adult(s) who work away from home on some days, she has a soft spot for retired people who are happy for her just to sit on their laps and tickle her under the chin! Buffy also likes a jolly good scratch down her back and to “make cookies”! She is an affectionate girl, who likes to spend time in the same room as her human(s).  When outside, Buffy does sometimes hunt.
