Lucky, who is male, black and two years’ old, is looking for his forever home. This gorgeous young boy has come into HFC care after his owner’s circumstances changed and she sadly no longer felt able to care for him.

Lucky is a small cat who has a beautiful, fluffy tail and a loud purr. He arrived into HFC foster care in Staines four weeks’ ago where he has settled in nicely. Lucky is affectionate and friendly and enjoys a cuddle on his own terms. He is full of energy and loves to play with his large selection of toys.

Whilst Lucky doesn’t mind being picked up, he can sometimes become over-stimulated when playing, batting away the hand of his playmate when he has had enough. Therefore, he has potential to either live with adults or alongside a family with respectful children, aged 10+.  It is important that Lucky's adopters will enjoy spending lots of time playing with him and are able to read his cues. Whilst in HFC care, Lucky has had no experience with other cats or dogs.

Lucky is a clever lad who knows his name and will come when his Carers call him. He instinctively presents himself at mealtimes but tends to graze on his food throughout the day.  The interest of a dripping tap (see video) and pure chicken snacks are the way to win this young man’s heart! Lucky is interested in the outside world and is hoping to find a home with safe, outside space to enjoy once settled.

Lucky has previously been neutered and microchipped. He has recently received a booster vaccination and is now ready to meet potential adopters.
