This is Lucy, who is a cheeky, female, black kitten who is estimated to be 17 weeks’ old.

She was found living stray by a member of the public who handed her into a vet practice for safety. A thorough health check revealed that she had not been microchipped and was suffering with a poorly stomach. Due to her illness, Lucy was cared for at the vet practice for a few weeks until she had gained some weight and it was safe to prepare her for re-homing.

We have taken Lucy into HFC foster care in Cranleigh, where she has been for four weeks. Whilst her stomach remains sensitive to some foods which will mean she will need to follow a good quality diet, Lucy is feeling much better. She has become a happy and playful kitten who enjoys lots of play, particularly with dangly toys. She also likes to look out of her window and to spend time with her Carer.  When life is just too exciting, she will entertain her Carer with a zoomie!

Lucy is a little nervous and can easily be spooked, therefore, she has potential to live with adults or a family with respectful children, aged 7+. However, she has had no experience with other cats or dogs whilst in our care.

In preparation for re-homing, Lucy has now been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated and she is ready to meet potential adopters at her foster home in Cranleigh.  If you would like to offer her a forever home that has safe outside space, please complete our application form and we will be in touch.
