Luna, who is female, grey and white and 7 years, 5 months’ old is looking for a forever home. Her owners have unexpectedly moved to emergency, temporary accommodation where they are not allowed to keep pets. With the possibility of further emergency moves for the family, a decision was reluctantly made to re-home Luna and her companion, Kinder, to allow them the opportunity to find a forever home without delay.

Luna and Kinder arrived into the care of our Cat Cabins on the Surrey/Hampshire border two weeks’ ago. Sadly, their experiences had left them stressed and they no longer seemed happy to spend time in each other’s company. To ensure their wellbeing, we have reluctantly separated the cats and are seeking separate homes for them.

Luna is the first of the two cats to be ready to meet potential adopters. She is affectionate on her own terms, preferring to sit next to her owners to receive a fuss. Luna has the potential to live with adults or alongside a family with children, aged 10+, who will be respectful of how she likes to be stroked.

We understand that the opportunities for Luna to play in her previous home were limited. However, the toys in her cabin appear in different positions each morning, so we think that she likes to play at night when no-one is watching!

Prior to coming into HFC care, Luna had been spayed and microchipped and we have arranged for her to receive a first vaccination.

Luna has been through a difficult time, and has even spent time in her cat basket at the lowest point, so we would like to find a home for her with adopter(s) willing to allow her space to quietly adjust to a new home and to re-discover her true sparkle!
