A little bit more

Norman, who is male, tabby and white and five years’ old is looking for love this Valentine’s Day! He is available for adoption because he became frustrated living an indoor life in a small flat which led to him being grumpy around his family.

Norman arrived into HFC foster care in New Malden three weeks’ ago. He quickly settled in and has been very affectionate and friendly, often head butting his Foster Carers for a fuss and running around their legs. Norman most likes to receive chin and cheek rubs and long strokes along his back. His meow is quiet and polite, very similar to a rubber duck squeak! However, Norman finds life very exciting and he has not been much of a lap cat whilst in care.

Norman is playful and particularly loves a spider wand toy, his “Kickeroo” and a variety of balls sprinkled with catnip. His energy levels are high and he thumps his tail to express friendly excitement. He is energetic, curious, adventurous and committed to climbing every piece of furniture in his foster home and to performing Zoomies each evening. It is important for Norman that his forever home has a safe garden where he is able to burn off some of his energy.

Whilst he has shown no aggression to his Carers, Norman does try to cheekily nibble their hands to request attention and entertainment. Therefore, his ideal home would be with adults who have plenty of time to entertain him, particularly in the evenings when he is most active. However, he also has potential to live with a family with children, aged 12+, who are able to read his body language. Norman would prefer to be an only pet.

Prior to coming into HFC care, Norman was neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and he is now ready to capture the heart of a potential adopter.

If you would like to offer your eternal love to bouncy and adorable Norman, please take a look at the checklist in his media where you can see the type of home he is looking for. Thank you.
