Bonded sisters, Romy (black & white) and Willow (tabby & white) are looking for a forever home. Now aged one year and three months, the girls were bought by their owner when they were kittens.  Since then, their owner and her daughter have suffered with severe allergies attributed to the cats and, believing the cats will be happier in a home that can offer regular access to a safe garden, has asked HFC for help to re-home them.

Both Willow and Romy are sweet, gentle cats. Willow, who is the most confident, is affectionate and a lap cat. Whilst Romy is also very affectionate, she is more shy and prefers to receive a fuss on her own terms. The girls love to play and have great fun together, particularly enjoying their tunnels, toy mice and a fishing rod. The cats were always interested to be involved in whatever their owner was doing and to join her for a cuddle on the sofa in the evenings.

Due to the allergies of their owners being triggered through brushing, the condition of Romy and Willow’s coats had deteriorated and they arrived into the care of our Cat Cabins on the Surrey/Hampshire border with their long fur badly matted. Our Vet has detangled as much as possible, but it has been necessary for sections of the girls’ coats to be shaved so that they are comfortable whilst they await their forever home. Our photos show pretty Romy and Willow at their fluffy best!

Whilst Romy and Willow are friendly, they prefer the company of adults and would be happiest to live in an adult home or alongside a family with respectful older children, aged 10+.
