A little bit more
Squeaky, who is female, black & white and 1 year, 2 months' old, is looking for a forever home. She has become available for adoption because her elderly owner became unwell and was no longer able to care for her. Squeaky is being cared for on a temporary basis by a family member. Sadly, this is not a permanent solution for her because her Carer already has two cats of her own and she is struggling to afford to care for all of them.
Squeaky is the quietest of all the cats in her temporary home. She is a sweet and gentle girl who likes to receive contact on her own terms. She can often be found hiding away, especially when there are visitors to her home. Whilst Squeaky is happy to accept affection from children, she becomes scared when youngsters run around or are noisy. Therefore, she has potential to either live with adults or alongside a family with respectful, quiet children aged over 12 years.
Squeaky previously got along well with her sister, Patch (who has recently been re-homed) and sometimes enjoyed playing chasing games with her. Therefore, with a very careful introduction, Squeaky has potential to live with another very friendly cat of a similar age. She is interested in the outside world and would like a safe garden to enjoy.
To prepare Squeaky for re-homing, HFC has arranged for her to be spayed, microchipped and to receive both vaccinations. She is available for re-homing through our Direct Re-home Service, which means that potential adopters will be invited to meet her at her temporary home in Ash, Surrey.
If you would like to offer a quiet home to Squeaky, please take a look at the checklist in her media where you can see the type of home she is looking for. Thank you.
