A little bit more
Squeaky, who is female, black & white and 1 year, 2 months' old, is looking for a forever home. She has become available for adoption because her elderly owner became unwell and was no longer able to care for her. Squeaky was taken into the temporary care of a family member, but she already had two cats of her own and was struggling to afford to care for them.
Since gentle Squeaky arrived into HFC foster care in Epsom a week ago, she has progressed from being a very shy girl who spent time in the hidey holes carefully created for her by her Carers, to enjoying their attention and exploring her new environment.
In her previous home, Squeaky was happy to accept affection from children, but became scared when youngsters ran around or were noisy. Therefore, we feel she has potential to either live with adults or alongside a family with respectful, quiet children aged over 12 years.
Squeaky previously got along well with her sister, Patch (who has recently been re-homed) and sometimes enjoyed playing chasing games with her. Therefore, with a very careful introduction, Squeaky has potential to live with another very friendly cat of a similar age. She is interested in the outside world and would like a safe garden to enjoy.
To prepare Squeaky for re-homing, HFC has arranged for her to be spayed, microchipped and to receive both vaccinations.
If you would like to offer a happy, quiet home to Squeaky, please take a look at the checklist in her media where you can see the type of home she is looking for. Thank you.
