A little bit more
Tiny, who is female, white and black and approximately two years’ old, was discovered living stray and alone in a garden in Hertfordshire. Concerned for her safety, Tiny's Finder allowed her inside her home. Despite a careful introduction and use of a plug-in calming tool, Tiny and her Finder’s own cat did not get along and, having been unable to locate her owner, Tiny’s Finder contacted HFC to ask for help to re-home her.
Tiny arrived into HFC foster care in Mortlake just before Christmas where she quickly demonstrated her love of people by sitting on her Carer’s laps from her first evening there. In order to acquire the human company she loves, Tiny follows her Carers around and will sit with them when they settle somewhere. Therefore, it is important for Tiny that her adopters spend the majority of their time at home. She has been very happy to meet quiet visitors, first sniffing their hands and shoes to check them out!
Tiny is an early riser, who will happily play by herself and perform “zoomies” until her Carers stir, then she will take the opportunity to “love bomb” them (which we understand is wildly seeking affection whilst her Carers are barely awake in bed!). She is very playful and is looking for a home with people who will enjoy playing with and have plenty of time for her. Tiny’s favourite toy is a fishing rod with feathers on the end which she chases with speed and precision! Tiny loves to watch the wildlife in the garden and is looking forward to having a home with a safe garden of her own to enjoy.
Tiny will sometimes attempt to scratch furniture and, whilst she stops immediately she is asked to, we are looking for an adopter(s) willing to spend some time gently and positively re-directing her towards scratching posts/boxes.
Tiny has potential to either live with adults or alongside a family with respectful children, aged 7+. She would like a home where she can relax and enjoy being an only pet.
Tiny was spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to coming into care and she is ready to meet with potential adopters.
If you would like to offer a forever home to friendly and playful Tiny, please take a look at the checklist in her media where you can see the type of home she is looking for. Thank you.
